This programme has already and successfully placed students in some of
these fields, and it does so adapting to their needs and incorporating
their learning objectives into the programme.
In essence, the internship programmes are similar to the volunteering
opportunities SVG offers, but some features are specific to these projects:

and the demands of the Internship programme dictated by your University,
who will require a minimum number of hours to fulfil your internship experience

(University) demands, but it will normally range from 2 weeks to 3 months
periods

studies, academic goals and career interest, adapting it to the needs
of the community you work with
4. Supervision: your work receives a personalized supervision; these are
professionals in the areas your work is to be developed
5. Evaluation: following formats generally set by your University, the
supervisor evaluates your work at the end of the experience; this allows
you to receive adequate academic credit for the internship
6. Internships allow you to build knowledge and improve your skills in
your area of focus and interest, and ultimately give you the opportunity
of being part of development issues, by experiencing the numerous challenges
these communities face, and to immerse yourself in their culture and the
lives of their people.
